Our Featured Newsletters:
Our newsletter clients represent a broad range of organizations providing services to seniors and caregivers. Featured below are a mix of online and print projects, a sampling of the types of newsletter programs we can create for you!
Right at Home
www.caringnews.com
- Challenge:
- A national home care company with great values has a newsletter program that is exceeding the time availability of their staff. They want to provide quality senior and caregiver information for their franchisees to distribute in the communities they serve, and be supportive of the marketing needs of their franchisees.
- Solution:
- Caresource provides a full service program that includes content planning and support, design, layout, and distribution of the online newsletter, and design, layout and print-ready files for the print version. The combined program is stronger, as content from one version supports the other, and the Right at Home team has more time to focus on other important outreach and franchisee support functions.
- “Our two-year relationship with IlluminAge for our online newsletter is solid and much appreciated. Feedback on our newsletter program is fabulous as a direct result of the timely, responsive, and careful attention we receive from the IlluminAge team.”
- - Angel Carl, Vice President, Marketing, Right at Home
Twilight Haven

- Challenge:
- A continuing care retirement community, that is just that, a community, needs to keep its residents and life members involved in activities and new developments. Their busy staff and board of directors have the information that needs to be shared, they just need a little help piecing it altogether.
- Solution:
- A quarterly print newsletter program, with a print run just large enough to meet their needs, in a custom full color design. They simply email their content to Caresource, and we complete the project with professional design and layout, deliver print newsletters, and post a PDF newsletter to their website!
- “Caresource recognized that the newsletter on our website was dated during a website customer service call (they are also our website service provider). Their customer service is impressive and my newsletters arrive so quickly! Their design support makes our newsletter program a snap!”
- - Patty Hickman, Office Manager, Twilight Haven
KIPDA

- Challenge:
- KIPDA Area Agency on Aging had a great print newsletter, but wanted to step it up a notch by bringing the program online and having their print version feature a more professional and user-friendly design and layout.
- Solution:
- Caresource provides KIPDA with newsletter services that include content support - use of in-house articles & proofing and editing of their content; design and layout of their print newsletter; and design, layout, and distribution of a corresponding online newsletter.
- “Our combined newsletter program with Caresource includes a print newsletter and our own edition of Seniors Digest. We appreciate the use of their content and the ease of the service. They have created a program that projects the image we want to represent in our community while maintaining our local connection. Although we have had a printed version of the KIPDA newsletter for several years, we have received many more compliments since beginning our partnership with Caresource.”
- - Barbara Gordon, Executive Director; Michelle Wade, Information and Assistance Planner, KIPDA Area Agency on Aging
Seattle King County Seniors Digest
www.seniorsdigest.org/skc
- Challenge:
- Seattle King County's Advisory Council on Aging and Disability Services provides support to the largely urban area of Seattle-King County. As this urban population ages, they are very comfortable looking to the Internet as a source of information, and the older demographic is getting more comfortable with this all the time. The organization needs to distribute information to the community it serves - however print distribution to this demographic would be cost-prohibitive.
- Solution:
- In urban areas, and more and more throughout the US, the use of online newsletters is the perfect solution to the communications needs of those organizations serving older adults. Seattle King County Aging and Disability Services provides Caresource with current information about area programs and services and Caresource rounds out the newsletter with national content. The result - a monthly online newsletter program that enjoys steady continued growth - both in sign-ups and online visits!
- “The publishing team has the technical skills and expertise to provide us with a very professional product. The team members are supportive and responsive. They listen and help us to incorporate our ideas into a technically handsome product.”
- - Timmie Faghin, Chairman of the Advisory Council on Aging and Disability Services for Seattle-King County
Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

- Challenge:
- For activity directors and marketing/admissions managers in senior care facilities, there aren't enough hours in the day to do everything that needs to be done. With all their other responsibilities, it is a tall order to write and research newsletter articles and to design and layout an attractive newsletter that will keep your families, residents, and referral sources up-to-date on facility news.
- Solution:
- Caresource provides a cost-effective, attractive newsletter shell, up-to-date articles on important issues like residents' rights, holiday gift giving, colds and flus, stock images and art, and design, layout, and on-time delivery.
- “Caresource has provided newsletter services to our facility for several years. The program is easy and cost effective - we just e-mail them our content and photos - they send a proof a few days later - and then a few days after that we receive our newsletters. They even have great content available for use on topics of interest to our resident, families and staff, a service which eliminates the pressure of developing quality copy. The end product is professional and is a positive image-builder for our facility.”
- - Linda Holliman, Director of Marketing, Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
