Keeping users up-to-date on covid

Over the course of the last several months, we have seen our clients implement many solutions for ongoing mandatory COVID status updates. You may be using your website, email, text alerts, phone calls (both personal and automated) or a combination of these to meet these requirements. For many clients, their website has become the hub of ongoing COVID communications. If you would like to improve efficiencies in updating your website, IlluminAge can help.

Our clients have expressed several goals for their COVID-19 website update process. First, they want to ensure that their team doesn’t spend an inordinate amount of time making these updates. Second, they want to eliminate the possibility of errors throughout the process. In response, IlluminAge offers several solutions:

Use your blog:

If you already have a blog on your site, this allows you to easily create a dedicated COVID information section to integrate with regular news.

Grace

Create a dedicated page on your website, easily updated by you.

If you don’t already have a blog, or aren’t interested in having one, we can create a page on your website and provide a quick training on how your team can update the information and/or add PDFs of the letters your facility is already creating for family communications.

Automated plug-in

For multi-facility clients, we have created a simple plug-in with data that can be customized to your needs. This enables team members at each community to easily update or add data on a timely basis, also reducing the risk of unwanted edits to other areas of the website.

Our team is supporting mandatory COVID-19 updates 7 days a week. We require updates to be sent to us by 3pm Pacific time on weekdays and by 12pm Pacific time on weekends. We are happy to continue to provide full-service update support to our clients. But if you are interested in learning more about options that allow your teams to do the updates locally, we are available to help with that, too. Our goal is to help you create a website management program that works best for you!
